Rolf Tweeten
Chairman and CEO

Mr. Tweeten is the Chairman and CEO of Alliance Hospitality Management LLC as well as the founder and President of Axis Hospitality Inc. Beginning his career with a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stout School of Hotel Administration, he joined the Marriott Corporation and completed their Management Training Program. After holding various managerial positions at full service Marriott Hotels in the midwest and southeastern United States he transitioned to hospitality real estate consulting. Mr. Tweeten held managerial positions in the hospitality real estate consulting divisions of Deloitte & Touche, LLC and Ernst and Young, LLC. He is an expert in the operational, market, and financial analysis and valuation of hospitality-related real estate.

Over the past 20 years he has become a fully integrated developer, owner and manager of premium branded hotels with a current portfolio of over 50 hotels in 16 states. Mr. Tweeten's aptitude for operating hotels in niche markets has been crucial to the success and remarkable growth of his companies. He has been responsible for every aspect of hotel operations and development.

 

 

Ken Nelson
Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Nelson has been in the hotel business since 1982 when he became the first franchisee of Residence Inns. Nelson was involved in both the operation and the development of hotels. Before that, Nelson was a developer of office buildings and a broker of commercial real estate. He started his career with Peat Marwick Mitchell & Co. (now KPMG). He holds both an MBA (finance and accounting) and a BBA (accounting) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and is licensed as a CPA and as a real-estate broker.

 

 

Sloan Dean
Senior Vice President of Revenue & Market Strategy

Sloan joined Alliance in April 2009 and currently oversees Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, E-Commerce and Business Intelligence for Alliance. Mr. Dean has been instrumental in implementing Market Aware Pricing and guides the portfolio in revenue strategies at Alliance. Areas of expertise include customer segmentation, business intelligence applications, online media & marketing, e-commerce, distribution strategy, retail pricing models, revenue management systems, third party Internet booking channels, change management, and hotel take-overs. Prior to joining Alliance, Mr. Dean worked with Noble Investment Group as Corporate Director of Revenue Management, with IHG as Regional Revenue Manager with its Hotel Management Group and Senior Analyst in their Global Distribution Marketing Department, as well as with Mercer Management Consulting where he was an analyst. Mr. Dean holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial & Systems Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology along with a Certificate/Minor in Finance from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Mr. Dean is an active member in HSMAI and is a Certified Revenue Management Executive (CRME).

 

 

Andrew Broad
Senior Vice President of Development

Mr. Broad has over fifteen years of franchise development, brokerage and capital market experience. Mr. Broad has extensive experience in the lodging and real estate industries, having served as the primary broker on over 80 hotel transactions throughout the United States. Andrew Broad was a Senior Vice President with HREC Investment Advisors where he specialized in hotel real estate transactions in the Northeastern and Mid-Atlantic regions. In addition, Andrew was a Broker with Timm & Associates, Inc. a hotel brokerage firm located in Minneapolis, MN. Mr. Broad was responsible for all phases of the sales process including; providing opinions of market value, creating marketing brochures, identifying qualified buyers, assisting buyers in their due diligence, and ultimately responsible for closing hotel real estate transactions. Andrew has also held franchise development positions with HFS (Cendant / Wyndham) and Red Roof Inns. Andrew is a graduate of the Cornell School of Hotel Administration.

 

 

Jon Schade
Vice President of Sales & Marketing

Mr. Schade joined Alliance Hospitality in January, 2004 as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Prior to joining Alliance Hospitality, he worked 10 years for the public parent company of Choice Hotels International in Silver Spring, MD in various capacities in development, acquisition, operations and marketing. Mr. Schade's previous experience includes the development, construction and opening of 22 full and select service hotels for a major real estate developer throughout the US and Canada. Mr. Schade began his career in operations and was a hotel General Manager and a multi-unit supervisor with over 30 years experience in the hotel industry. He holds a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Administration from Brandywine College, Wilmington, Delaware.

 

 

Mark Antolik
Regional Director of Operations

Mark Antolik brings over 25 years of experience in both the full and focused service hotels to the Alliance Hospitality Management Company operational team. His experience conveys a very hands-on approach to the oversight and guidance of hotels under his direction by utilizing his 10 plus years experience in Food and Beverage and 15 plus years as General Manager, Area Manager, District Manager and Regional Director of Operations. He has experience and oversight in the Starwood, Hilton, Omni, Carlson, Holiday Inn and Marriott systems as well as Independent hotels throughout the country with a focus on hotels in the Midwest. Mr. Antolik identifies efficiencies to drive overall profitability and specializes in brand relations, property openings and hotel restructuring. He received his CHA certification from the American Hotel & Lodging Association's Educational Institute.

 

 

Rae Salling
Regional Director of Operations

Rae started her career with the prior owners/operators of Alliance Hospitality, with her first achievement as a Hilton Hotel GM and then promoted to a Regional Director of Operations. Her 24 years of experience include roles in Sales, but her concentration has been in the Operations Field. Mrs. Salling has been instrumental in hotel transitions as well as turning around underperforming hotels, and she is a specialist in new hotel openings. Mrs. Salling has experience in Starwood, Hilton, IHG, Choice Hotels, and the Marriott brands. She attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a focus in Business Management.

 

 

Barbara Rushing O'Cain
Corporate Director of Human Resources

Barbara joined Alliance in March 2010 and has more than 20 years of human resource experience in both the public and private sectors. An attorney, mediator and psychologist, Ms. O'Cain's areas of expertise include human resources management, legal compliance, labor relations, conflict management, and professional development and education. Ms. O'Cain received her BA in Psychology from Emory University; MA in Education-School Psychology/Counseling from Georgia State University; Ed.S. in Education-School Psychology from Georgia State University; and her JD, specializing in labor law, from the University of Denver School of Law where she received the John Phillip Linn Labor Law Award and the American Jurisprudence Labor Law Award. In addition, she has been listed in Who's Who of American Women, Outstanding Young Women of America, Who's Who in American Law, and Who's Who in Practicing Attorneys.
